NASA Awards Contract for Flight Dynamics Support Services
(September 2019)

 

NASA has awarded the Flight Dynamics Support Services (FDSS) III contract, a small business set-aside, to OPR, LLC of Beltsville, Maryland, to provide flight dynamics support services to, and related service support for, the Engineering and Technology Directorate’s Mission and Systems Analysis Division at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

 

OPR, LLC will provide for the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions.

 

OPR LLC is a joint venture of Pearl River Technologies and Omitron, Inc.

Jim Caldwell of Bay St. Louis, Miss., service delivery manager, PRT, received NASA's Outstanding Public Leadership Medal for sustained outstanding leadership, providing outstanding support to NASA, the NSSC and all NASA customers. This prestigious NASA medal is awarded to non-Government employees for notable leadership accomplishments that have significantly influenced the NASA mission.

Pearl River Technologies has been named a Small Business Subcontractor of the Year by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the agency’s 2016 Small Business Industry Award (SBIA) program. The award recognizes the high quality of the company’s ongoing work at the NASA Shared Services Center, where Pearl River staff provide support to the agency wide Shared Services Center. It is one of three awards given annually in contractor categories among companies nominated by each of NASA’s individual flight centers and research labs. Pearl River is very proud of Desiree for winning this award. Desiree is incredibly talented and this award recognizes her accomplishments toward the NSSC mission of Unparalleled Service" Jim Caldwell. Desiree supports the Procurement Function at the NSSC where she has excelled in processing Grants and SBIR's. She has worked diligently to improve processes and streamline activities while working with the Electronic License Management (ELM) Team. Desiree was also the point person for development of the Simplified Acquisition Business Case which has been highly received at the Agency Level. Congratulations to Desiree!!
